An application is a written document with which you can introduce yourself to a company and apply for a job. As a rule, the application consists of a cover letter, a CV, an application photo and attachments. The application documents are sent by e-mail as a PDF file, possibly with the covering letter in the text of the e-mail.

A case study assessment can form part of an interview process and simulates a practical problem that the participants have to analyse and solve, either alone or together with other applicants, under time pressure. The case study aims to test the analytical and organisational skills of the applicants as well as their solution orientation, stress resistance, and ability to concentrate. If case studies are worked on in groups, the teamwork skills of the individual participants are also put to the test.

At the beginning of the process, there is an inventory of the current problems, which are then intensively examined to see how they arose. In the next phase, change management develops change processes and defines goals on how to improve the situation. In this context, the time and financial scope of the realignment are also determined.
